Description
Tenmile Distillery is located in Wassaic, New York, and focused on the belief that a small, independent distillery with the right team can return to traditional methods of whisky-making and produce a superior spirit. Focusing on American Single Malt, although also making gin and vodka, they went right to the source of what single malt means to them: Scotland. Their first hire was Shane Fraser who previously distilled for Oban, Glenfarclas, and was distillery manager at Wolfburn in northern Scotland.
Taste
The bottling commemorates the New Year’s Eve snowstorm assault by General Washington that ended in disaster, failing to secure a fourteenth colony.
