Brand Tasting Notes: The nose has bold dark fruits, berries, pipe tobacco, vanilla, and caramel. Rich and sweet on the nose with significant layers. Hints of leather, caramelized orange, cinnamon, and coffee cake – further showcasing subtle toasted nutty notes, reminiscent of toasted pecans and pecan pie. The palate is assertive, full-flavored, and complex. This is a big spirit, hitting all aspects of the palate -from subtle fruit sweetness, and nice tannins, and finishing with a lingering honey and nutty quality. The spice from the high-rye presents as toasted cinnamon with a subtle black pepper note, but overall, it has caramelized sweets and fruits.
