Southern Distilling Company was founded in 2013 by Pete and Vienna Barger. Based in Statesville, North Carolina where there are deep and renowned distilling roots. They built a new, state-of-the-art craft distillery. North Carolina’s craft spirits are thriving and in October 2016, October was proclaimed North Carolina Spirits Month. It is the first licensed distillery in the “liquor capital of the world” (Statesville) since 1903!

The “Paragon” range at Southern Star means it is a wheated Bourbon.

Brand Tasting Notes: Herbaceous, woody, and peppery notes are balanced by sweet mint, cardamom, and vanilla bean.
