The brand was founded in 2020 by Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan & Donal McLynn. They also own an importer/distributor within Ireland and have extensive industry knowledge. The brand was inspired by the lost tradition of many bottlers and blenders throughout Ireland. They use a mixture of single grain, single malt, and pot still style whiskeys for their blends and typically bottle at natural cask strength. In 2022, in Northern Ireland, they opened Ireland’s only independent bottling and blending facilities.

Taste

Distilled at The Great Northern Distillery (GND), Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland. 95% maize and 5% Irish malted barley triple distilled on a column still. Non-age statement. Aged in ex-bourbon casks for three years and finished for up to one year in ex-Oloroso sherry casks.

Aromas of butterscotch chips, heather, and nutmeg prime the palate for peach skin and porridge with cream, transitioning to a chewy, moreish finish with hints of walnut skin and cherry pit

No added coloring. Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV
