Description

Tomatin Distillery sits just outside of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. They are known to make very fruity, malty single malt whisky. A lot of it still goes into blends but they also produce a peated style as well. Founded in 1897, at one time they were one of the largest distilleries in Scotland.

Taste

Matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. Notes of golden syrup, ginger biscuits which lead to malt loaf, marzipan, and a lingering baking spice finish.
