The Single Malts of Scotland is a brand run by the London-based Elixir Distillers who are also the folks behind The Whisky Exchange. They specialize in whisky, predominantly Scotch but also Japanese, Irish and American whiskies.
The company’s three core whisky brands are Elements of Islay, Port Askaig, and The Single Malts of Scotland, while it also bottles navy rum under the Black Tot brand.
The Single Malts of Scotland range provides independent bottlings of single malts from all over Scotland and various ages.

The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks are a flavor-led exploration of fine single malts, bottled in small batches of three to ten casks. Each parcel of bottles shows the variety of styles and flavors found across Scotland, and the differences in angel’s share depending
on region.
Caol Ila is a heavily peated Islay malt owned by Diageo. Most of the whisky produced here goes into Johnnie Walker but it can be found as as single malt.
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose has rich BBQ smoked cherries poached in wine. Tropical fruit juice cuts through peppery notes of cinnamon and sticky caramel – combining to create depth of flavor through layers of smoke. The palate has more BBQ smoke and turns more into a bonfire with driftwood and hints of sea air. Charred mackerel served with a squeeze of lemon and a touch of spice is contrasted against Bramble tea. A luscious spoonful of marmalade hides in the background. The finish is lovely and long. note – rose petals with a hint of crystallized ginger
