Description
Tenmile Distillery is located in Wassaic, New York, and focused on the belief that a small, independent distillery with the right team can return to traditional methods of whisky-making and produce a superior spirit. Focusing on American Single Malt, although also making gin and vodka, they went right to the source of what single malt means to them: Scotland. Their first hire was Shane Fraser who previously distilled for Oban, Glenfarclas, and was distillery manager at Wolfburn in northern Scotland.
Taste
Named after the Battle of White Plains in 1776 during the Revolutionary War. This is part of the “Revolutionary Series” from Tenmile Distillery.
Brand Tasting Notes: A nose of caramel and vanilla shortbread. Granny smith apples, and a long smooth finish with hints of vanilla and toasted hazelnuts.
