Milam & Greene Whiskey is a Texas-based distillery located in Blanco in the Texas Hill Country. It was founded by entrepreneur Marsha Milam in 2017 and officially launched as a branded company at the end of 2019. Milam partnered with master blender Heather Greene, along with master distiller Marlene Holmes, both industry veterans. The brand blends grain‑to‑glass whiskey distilled in Blanco on copper pot stills with sourced whiskey distilled and aged in multiple states to create their releases. They expanded their Texas distillery in 2023 and now have a visitor’s center.

Brand Tasting Notes: Nose: The nose has aromas of caramelized brown sugar and notes of honeysuckle, almond, oak, cigar boxes, and old fine leather. The palate is smooth yet viscous with notes of sweet cornbread, crème brulee, vanilla, peanut brittle, and malted milk chocolate. The finish is smooth with notes of marzipan, baking spice, and simple syrup.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Cappuccino froth, hot cocoa with marshmallows, cherries, caramel, and nougat.
