James Eadie is an independent bottler of single malt and blended Scotch whisky. James Eadie has a long and rich history of making blended Scotch Whisky and even had his own brewery in 1854. His blended Scotch is called “X”. His great-great grandson, Rupert Patrick decided to revive his blended Scotch and also started bottling single malts. He tracked down Mr. Eadie’s ledgers and was able to recreate the blend. Norman Mathison is now their blender.

Royal Brackla is a Highland Distillery owned by Bacardi. It sits on the Cawdor Estate and is only 1 of 3 distilleries to be granted a Royal Warrant. The other two are Royal Lochnagar and Glenury Royal (now closed). It is known for its unpeated malt rich in cookie-malty notes.
