James Eadie Caol Ila 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

James Eadie is an independent bottler of single malt and blended Scotch whisky. James Eadie has a long and rich history of making blended Scotch Whisky and even had his own brewery in 1854. His blended Scotch is called “X”. His great-great grandson, Rupert Patrick decided to revive his blended Scotch and also started bottling single malts. He tracked down Mr. Eadie’s ledgers and was able to recreate the blend. Norman Mathison is now their blender.

Caol Ila is an Islay distillery that produces primarily heavily peated malt. A true staple in the independent bottling world.
