Duncan Taylor was originally based out of Glasgow where they were merchants and brokers of Scotch whisky casks. They have been laying down casks from distilleries all over Scotland for decades and now have one of the largest privately-held collections of rare and vintage Scotch Whisky. They now operate out of Huntly, Scotland in the Highlands. They have become quite infamous for their Octave (small cask) finishes.

Girvan is a grain distillery in the lowlands, south of Glasgow. It was built in the 1960s and is still producing whisky. Owned by William Grant & Sons (Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Grant’s, etc.), the site is also home to the versatile Scotch distillery with multiple different styles of pot stills, Ailsa Bay.
