Founded by Robin Tucek in 1995, Blackadder is another independent bottler coming to you from Scotland but bottling not just whisky but also rum and other spirits. They are iconic for their “raw casks” which leaves all sediment from the cask in the bottle. Literally little pieces of cask and char are still in the bottle!

Rare Amrut bottling from Blackadder with only 201 bottles.

The whisky in this bottle has been selected by Blackadder from a single cask distilled at the award-winning Amrut Distillery in Bangalore. The unique combination of aging and maturation at the high elevation of Bangalore, in southern India, helps produce what we believe to be unquestionable superior single malt whisky. Following its maturation in an ex-Jura cask, it was shipped to Scotland where it was drawn and bottled at cask strength in July 2021.
This whisky has no colour added and no chill filtration.

Premium aged Scotch Whiskies based on the RAW CASK philosophy. The Cask is King! Bottled from single casks, no chilling, no heavy filtering and never, ever any caramel coloring or flavoring added. Never! And many have been lucky enough to discover barrel char in their bottles!
