Prohibition Craft Spirits (PCS) is the bottler for the brand Nulu and was founded in 2016. They have become known for their sourcing of barrels and private barrel picks for bourbon clubs and shops. They have become quite popular with their picks and toasted finishes.

Mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley
Aged 7 years; aged approximately 5 years at MGP in new American oak, re-barreled (“double-oaked”) by PCS Distilling, and aged in their warehouse for approximately 2 years before being finished for several months in a maple brûlée barrel (a barrel previously used to age maple syrup and toasted to caramelize the residual sugars). Maple brûlée barrel was toasted and recoopered by Tonnellerie Moreau cooperage in Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge, Quebec, Canada.
Brand Tasting Notes: Rich aromas of cooked red currant, bananas foster, and toasted sugar with hints of cinnamon and sweet oak. The palate is soft and rounded, showing red fruit, clove, nutmeg, and a touch of maple. Oily in texture and pleasantly sweet, it offers strong crowd appeal without sacrificing complexity.
