The Uncharted Whisky Company is an independent whisky bottler located in Fintry, Scotland, operated by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. They both came from the drinks industry and wanted to bottle their own whisky under this new brand.
Taste
Macduff is a Highland distillery right on the north sea and owned by Bacardi. It is known to have a rich apple and fruit forward flavor profile. It is bottled most often under the name “Glen Deveron”.
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose has a bright caramel, cereals and malt, butteriness and Thorntons special toffee. Aromas of dried lemon rind. The palate has a zing that accompanies a really weighty spirit-forward dram. Boiled barley sweeties, cloves and spice of woody European oak. The finish is long and rounded with dried apricots and dried lemon rind sinking into the oaky spice blend.
