The Uncharted Whisky Company is an independent whisky bottler located in Fintry, Scotland, operated by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. They both came from the drinks industry and wanted to bottle their own whisky under this new brand. All of their releases are named after famous musicians, songs, and albums.
Taste
A small batch release from Uncharted and their “Blue Collection”.
Batch #1 is made up of a handful of ex-bourbon barrels from Aultmore Distillery.
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose has delicate and fragrant pear drops, pineapple, and lemon sherbet. The palate is super smooth and warming. Notes of fresh baking, like lemon drizzle cake, accompany florals and oak wood. The finish has soft esters, pears, oak wood, mild vanilla, and malted barley.
