The brand was founded in 2020 by Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan & Donal McLynn. They also own an importer/distributor within Ireland and have extensive industry knowledge. The brand was inspired by the lost tradition of many bottlers and blenders throughout Ireland. They use a mixture of single grain, single malt, and pot still style whiskeys for their blends and typically bottle at natural cask strength. In 2022, in Northern Ireland, they opened Ireland’s only independent bottling and blending facilities.

Distilled at Great Northern Distillery and then matured, blended, and bottled by Two Stacks. wo Stacks Single Malt Double Barrel is a fruity, nutty delicate Irish single malt whiskey from Two Stacks. It is crafted by the vatting of 3 styles of single malt, 10% peated malt, 50% triple distilled malt, and 40% double distilled malt. The spirit is matured in both ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks.
Brand Tasting Notes: The palate offers notes of deep oak spice, wild brambles, sweet blackcurrants, hazelnuts, and toasted walnuts that linger in the finish.
