Laird & Company (Laird’s) is the oldest-licensed producer of spirits in the US, and its apple brandy—one of the last of a legacy of apple-based spirits once widely produced in New Jersey—is prized by bartenders and drinks aficionados alike.
Brand Tasting Notes: High-toned notes of Red Delicious apple and Bartlett pear combine with brown butter, cinnamon, and cigar wrapper on the nose and evolve into ample caramel, rye bread, and cinnamon on the palate, with the rye lending spice and tannin for a lingering dry finish.
