Traverse City Whiskey Co. Single Barrel Bourbon 6YR Private Select – STORE PICK

A First Fill Spirits store pick single barrel! After months and months of discussions with Traverse City, we finally felt it was best if one of us went out to visit. Holly was at the distillery to pick this barrel in late April and we couldn’t be more thrilled to represent Traverse City here in New York State, where it is rarely ever seen!

Traverse City Whiskey Co. in Traverse City, Michigan, was founded in 2011 by three friends – Moti, Chris & Jared. Chris had found old records of his family distilling on their farm back in the day and wanting to leave the corporate world, this seemed like a great opportunity. Traverse City is a fantastic holiday and vacation spot right on the Grand Traverse Bay that leads out to Lake Michigan so it made great sense to have a distillery on the surrounding farmland and a tasting bar downtown for everyone to enjoy. They are expanding for the 3rd time and have become highly sought after in the whiskey world.
