Torabhaig The Legacy Series ‘Allt Gleann’ Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch

Torabhaig is the second licensed whisky distillery on the Isle of Skye on the west coast of Scotland. The most iconic Skye distillery is Talisker and both Torabhaig and Talisker foster a maritime quality to their whiskies. Torabhaig is built on the site of what was once an iron-age fort and has records of farming that date back to 1763. It wasn’t until 2002 that the original proprietor Sir Iain Noble from Edinburgh was granted permission to begin building, unfortunately, he passed away. Mossburn Distillers (Mossburn the Independent Bottler) took over the project and began construction in 2014. They had their first release in 2021.
