Description

Founded in 2014 by Jennifer Nickerson, Stuart Nickerson, and Liam Ahearn. Tipperary Distillery is in County Tipperary, Ireland and all of their barley is grown on their Farm at Ballindoney. All barley is harvested by the Ahearn family and then triple-distilled by their head distiller Stuart Nickerson.

Taste

Triple distilled single malt aged entirely in first-fill ex-Rioja casks. The casks were sourced from Bodegas Faustino in Spain.

Brand Tasting Notes: The nose immediately gives an abundance of soft fruits, almost a Victoria sponge sensation with strawberry and raspberry notes and hints of dried grass. The palate compliments this, deep and round with raspberry notes and hints of toasted marshmallow. The finish is medium-long, surprisingly robust for its age.
