Through The Grapevine is a project from the online retailer La Maison Du Whisky. Their theory is that there are 6 vintages, 271 establishments, 1,300 distiller winemakers, 5,000 winegrowers, and unique know-how, which means that Cognac should be further explored. The Through The Grapevine range was created with the aim of unearthing rare bottlings. A selection of casks and exclusive small batches of cognac, selected directly from passionate producers, each with their own know-how, pledge of quality, and unique products.
Taste
Jean-Luc Pasquet Cognac is an independent grower and distillery. Their Grande Champagne vineyards have been in the family since 1730. In the early 1990s, the Pasquet family decided they wanted to truly tap into their heritage and began using natural agricultural methods. They farm their vines organically using native yeast to ferment and distill on the lees in their pot still. They are also replanting old varietals like Folle Blanche and Montils.
