St. Bridget’s Kirk is a Blended Malt Scotch that comes from Hannah Whisky Merchants. Gregor Hannah, the founder of Hannah Whisky Merchants is also behind Lady of the Glen Independent Bottlings and The Dalgety Single Malt Scotch. Since 2012, the warehousing and blending for all of the brands is located in Dalgety Bay Scotland in Fife.

Taste

This blended malt is run through a solera cask system where once older whisky in the bottom casks is bottled, younger whisky is filled in the top casks which are Fino Sherry and eventually passes through Oloroso Sherry casks at the bottom.

Brand Tasting Notes: Manuka honey, orange peel, ginger tablet, new leather and a subtle smokiness.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Cheddar cheese with peach chutney on top! Tangerines, some subtle but oily peat, charred dark cocoa and an oily sweet finish.
