Description

Single Cask Nation began as a membership society of folks who were interested in rare, fine single cask whiskies and other spirits. Now they are a top independent bottler of spirits. The founders are Joshua Hatton & Jason Johnstone-Yellin who are both highly regarded in the whisky industry for their palates and podcast, One Nation Under Whisky.

Taste

Inchfad is actually the name for Loch Lomond when released in independent bottlings and this was first aged in a refill bourbon hogshead and then finished in a Grand Cru Bordeaux Barrique. Cask # 3141592. While wood smoke, granola, green olives in brine, toasted coconut, and ripe red berries might seem like awkward bedfellows they absolutely work here. What a  wee cracker!
