Signatory is an independent bottler based out of Edradour Distillery, which they own as well in Pitlochry, Perthshire. Their whiskies are bottled across a number of ranges, including the Un-chill Filtered Collection, the Cask Strength Collection, and the Single Grain Collection. Their “perfume bottles” have become iconic for their stature and quality.
Signatory bottling, bonding, and office facilities are located in a building adjacent to Edradour distillery, near Pitlochry in Perthshire, which the company also owns.
Taste
Linkwood was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, but production did not start until 1824. The distillery is located near the town of Elgin, in Speyside and its name, is derived from its proximity to a local stream, Linkwood Burn. The distillery was established during the whisky boom, a period in which many small distilleries were built across the Speyside region to meet the growing demand for blended Scotch whisky. Linkwood’s combination of texture and delicacy, a light, elegant, and well-balanced style, makes it a favorite for blending and single malt aficionados alike.
