Their well-developed palates have taken them to this new and exciting world of picking their own casks and bottling them under their “Raising Glasses” label. They are about sharing good bottles and want to raise a glass with you! Holly has also been friends with them for quite some time as they were customers of hers when she worked in Boston. This bottling has the lush seductiveness, bawdy boldness and electrifying elegance of an elite burlesque performer.
The Rum: Burlesque is one of our all time favorite releases – the accidental 90 day fermentation unleashed a wild, intense, multi-layered flavor experience with notes of mulled wine, cherry cough drops, red hots, flan custard and candied orange peel. Red Wine casks are fickle beasts that we usually avoid but 7 years of marriage with Roulaison’s pot still distillate resulted in a gorgeous integration that stays true through the end of its melodic finish.
