The name “Fat Baby Bourbon” comes from the founder’s daughter, Pepper, who was lucky to survive a stroke when she was just a baby. She now lives a healthy life and this Bourbon is in honor of her. The brand was founded five years ago in Upstate, NY by Pepper’s parents.


Batch No. 43 | This whiskey is distilled at Schenectady Distilling and bottled by Fat Baby Bourbon in Glenville, New York. The mashbill is 75 corn 25 rye 5 malted barley.

Brand Tasting Notes: Impeccable balance of spice, honey, and vanilla with robust flavor and smooth in finish.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Some nougat, nuts, grass, and old crumbly apples. A dash of green tea with honey. The palate has cocoa powder, some spice, and candied sweetness. The rye shows on the finish as more herbal notes but still a nice touch of sweetness.
