Description
Lost Lantern is a Vermont-based independent bottler of American whiskey, founded by Nora Ganley-Roper and Adam Polonski. Inspired by the long tradition of Scotch independent bottlers, the two spent more than a year criss-crossing the United States—visiting distilleries, meeting craft distillers, and sourcing exceptional casks.
Since launching its first releases in late 2020, Lost Lantern has earned wide acclaim: in 2023, it was named Independent Bottler of the Year at the Global Icons of Whisky Awards. Based in Vergennes, Vermont, Lost Lantern bottles both single casks and small-batch blends from more than 30 distilleries across 20+ states, always emphasizing transparency about the origin, age, proof, and distillery source.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Dirt around a campfire, damp wood, and boggy nose. The palate is wild with dry, charred wood, vanilla, whipped cream, burnt toffee, and peanut brittle. It is dry but rich and intense. With water, there is more citrus and cocoa.
