Lost Lantern is a pioneer of both American Whiskey & Independent Bottlers. Typically we see independent bottlers in Scotland bottling whisky from distilleries all over the country. This is a niche of the industry allowing them to showcase superb single malts and small batch blends that otherwise wouldn’t be available. This has never been commonplace in the USA, until now! They are truly an “American Independent Bottler” and source rare and special whiskies from all over the USA. Their goal is to shine a light on whiskies you may not have seen or tasted before through single casks and blends. They bottle American Single Malts, Bourbons, and Ryes.

“Saratoga Summer II” is a special collaboration between First Fill and our friends Adam and Nora at Lost Lantern. We’ve long admired their blends and single casks, so it was an easy decision to team up again for a 2025 Saratoga Summer release. This annual bottling celebrates our hometown of Saratoga Springs—a place that truly comes alive in the summer with its lakes, the nearby Adirondacks, world-class horse racing, and vibrant local energy.
To select this year’s whiskey, Adam and Nora sent us over a dozen blind samples. After much tasting and deliberation, Charles and I kept returning to one standout. When the reveal came, we were stunned to learn our favorite came from a distillery we had never even heard of! We hope you enjoy this whiskey as much as we do.

2024 Release – Kings County Bourbon
2025 – SanTan Spirits Bourbon
SanTan Spirits is based in Chandler, Arizona, and is Arizona’s largest brewery & distillery facility. This is Lost Lantern’s first release from the distillery. The mashbill is 55% Corn, 13% Rye, 32% Malted Barley.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Warm cinnamon toast with butter, nougat, and orange marmalade. The palate has some nice sweet spice, a lovely sweetness with Werther’s and chocolate.
