Killowen ‘Rum & Raisin’ Signature Style Irish Single Malt

Killowen Distillery was founded in 2017 by a trio of friends including head distiller Brendan Carty. Carty is active and influential in the Irish Distilling world and obsessed with the revival of long-forgotten native Irish Distilling styles. It is situated in the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland, and quickly made a name for itself by releasing innovative cask-finished whiskeys. They distill on two pot stills that are both direct fire heated and utilize worm tub condensers. They are the only distillery in Ireland to run all production through worm tub condensers.
