Kilchoman Distillery is a farm distillery on the northwest coast of Islay. They run and harvest their own barley fields stretching all the way out to Machir Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. They have become known for their rich, heavily peated single malts, their floor maltings, and their 100% Islay range where all barley used is from the island. They were established in 2005 and it is a great distillery to visit to see production from start to finish all on one site.
