Description

James Eadie is an independent bottler of single malt and blended Scotch whisky. James Eadie has a long and rich history of making blended Scotch Whisky and even had his own brewery in 1854. His blended Scotch is called “X”. His great-great grandson, Rupert Patrick decided to revive his blended Scotch and also started bottling single malts. He tracked down Mr. Eadie’s ledgers and was able to recreate the blend. Norman Mathison is now their blender.

Glen Spey is a Speyside Single Malt. Built in 1878 but the name changed to Glen Spey in 1887. It has been a long-time component of the J&B Blend and is not released as a stand-alone single malt. Now owned by Diageo, it is known for its nice oiliness and nutty quality.
