Description

JP Trodden Bourbon is named after the grandfather of the Trodden family. The family has owned property in the Okanogan Region of north-central Washington State since the 1890s. JP himself was the US Mail Carrier in the early 1930s during prohibition. His route actually took him across the border from Washington State to British Columbia where alcohol was still legal. He would stash whisky in his mailbag and bring it home to friends. They still own the original cabin he lived in on this old mail route. The family decided it was time to start making their own whiskey in his honor.
