First matured in new #3 char American oak casks, and then aged further in fresh, #4 char new American oak casks.
Brand Tasting Notes: Warm and inviting aromas of vanilla and caramel with hints of prune, apricot and rye spice which round out the nose. Initial caramel sweetness on the palate is followed by mint, clove, and cinnamon spices before fading to a caramel, butterscotch conclusion with a long, warm and sweet finish.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Marshmallows, custard, fresh cut grass and plums. The palate is lovely with dill spice, clean winter green rye with a candied sweetness.
