Description

Brothers John and James Grant joined forces to build what was then a massive distillery in 1839. They were also well aware that their new, large-scale distillery would fail if transport links were not established. It was thanks to them that a rail line was built from Lossiemouth to Elgin and brought travel and independence to this region.

The distillery continued to grow and would eventually comprise not just a distillery but a huge greenhouse and extensive gardens. Their Master Distiller is Dennis Malcolm who is the longest-serving distiller in Scotland. This distillery is owned by Campari.
