Glaschu Spirits Co. is a Glasgow-based independent whisky bottler founded by two former aircraft engineers, Paul Jamieson and Julian Mithoff, who launched the brand in September 2022 after having earlier set up the online cask trading platform DamGoodDrams in 2020. Their mission: to showcase selected single cask whiskies with distinctive finishes, bold label designs rooted in Glasgow’s industrial heritage, and a spirit of experimentation and independence.
From their first bottlings, they’ve concentrated on unique maturation casks and high-quality spirits from established Scottish distilleries, releasing limited runs described as “carefully curated” and non-chill filtered. As of now, Glaschu Spirits Co. stands as a modern example of how independent bottlers are carving out their identity—bringing the city of Glasgow’s name (the Gaelic “Glaschu”) into the whisky world with character, craftsmanship, and a niche focus.

Ardnamurchan is a very remote, coastal Highland Distillery that produces peated and unpeated single malts. The artwork is John Cobb’s Crusader – a jet-powered racing boat built in 1949.
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose opens with the richness of roasted coffee beans and tart cherry juice, layered over earthy tones reminiscent of worn leather in a well-loved pub. The palate has deeply spiced fruitcake and molasses leading into dark chocolate and ripe Medjool dates, balanced by a subtle zest of blood orange that brightens the richness.
