Ferg & Harris was founded in 2021 by Young Spirits, an Edinburgh-based spirits and bottling business. Harrison and co-founder John Ferguson source whisky from all over Scotland before finishing them for the Ferg & Harris ‘character’.
Taste
An undisclosed Speyside Single Malt (not peated) finished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks for 6 months.
Brand Tasting Notes: The nose has scents of toffee, baked figs, and rich raisins at the start with lighter fruity notes following. The palate has a quick hit of sherry sweetness on the palate that coats the mouth and throat. Robust sweetness and subtle woody notes are also gifted by the barrel.
Holly’s Tasting Notes: Cherry cola, Dr. Pepper, but still with that richness, there is a lovely citrus: raspberry toaster strudels and ripe plums.
