Taste

Distilled in June 2009 and bottled in November 2021. Barrel DL15379.

Brand Tasting Notes: Catch early honey, Maraschino Cherries, marzipan, melted chocolate & gentle spices. The palate is barley, honey on toast, and citrus. The malt and citrus continue for a long finish.

Glenlossie Distillery was built in 1876 by John Duff, Alexander Allen, and John Hopkins who all were involved in distilleries prior such as Longmorn, Benriach, and Tobermory. In 1919 it became a part of DCL like many other distilleries and DCL would eventually become Diageo. To this day it is not released as a stand-alone single malt from the distillery and its main purpose is to produce for blends. Located in the Speyside region, it is unpeated and full of malt and fruit.
