The core range of Douglas Laing includes the Remarkable Regional Malts: The Epicurean (Lowland), Timorous Beastie (Highland), Scallywag (Speyside), The Gauldrons (Campbeltown), Rock Island (Islands), as well as Big Peat from Islay. They also bottle single casks such as the Old Particular and Xtra Old Particular bottlings.

Douglas Laing owns Strathearn in Perthshire which was acquired in 2019 and planning to build a new distillery in Glasgow.

Tasting Notes from the Brand:

Nose: Shoe leather with sweet barley and melted white chocolate buttons.

Palate: Very honeyed with barbecue wood chips and a hint of green chili.

Finish: Long, dry with more of the malted barley and moving to Florida oranges.
