Dornoch Kentucky Bourbon: Limited Release

A very special limited release celebrating Dornoch’s triumphant win in the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga!  First Fill Spirits hand picked this wonderful Bourbon which perfectly matches the tenacity and grace shown by Dornoch on that fateful day. Distilled and aged in the heart of Bardstown, KY this 7.6 year old Bourbon has a wonderful nose of ripe green apples, white peppercorns and caramel. A palate full of baking spices, peach cream, more caramel and just the right amount of heat. Just like Dornoch, a great finisher filled with rye spice, pie crust and hints of vanilla sweetness.

In the legendary Belmont stakes at Saratoga, Dornoch pressed the pace taking charge under regular pilot Luis Saez. Passed in midstretch, he fought back along the rail to cross the finish line a half length in front. Dornoch Bourbon was hand selected to celebrate and commemorate the spirit of a horse known for his grit and determination. All proceeds from this commemorative special edition release will be donated to foundations supporting thoroughbred back stretch workers, as a thank you for their part in Dornoch’s success.

With only 210 bottles available, much like Dornoch we expect this offering to go fast.
