Cadenhead’s specializes in bottling single-cask or small-batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world. They are under the same ownership as Springbank and Kilkerran Distillery in Campbeltown.

This release is a marriage of 3 casks that were re-racking into Oloroso Sherry casks for about 1 year and then again, into refill Bourbon barrels in October 2022, then bottled in September 2023.

Tamdhu Distillery, founded in 1897, has a signature style that displays distinctive notes of spice and dried fruit. The distillery is located in the Speyside region in Knockando, Banffshire. Tamdhu comes from Gaelic for “little dark hill”. A reliable component of blends over the years, Tamdhu spirit is known to be a sweet and fruity spirit with the ability to handle aging in ex-sherry casks.

Brand Tasting Notes: The nose is meaty with mint, sprig, and oregano. The palate has figs, blood orange, maraschino cherries, and mocha coffee. The finish is earthy with cola and dried herbs.
