Description

It is great to see another Lowland Distillery make a comeback! Bladnoch’s rich history dates back to 1817 when John and Thomas McClelland were first granted a license to distill whisky on their Bladnoch farm in Scotland’s Lowlands. The distillery has been massively renovated and is now at the helm of Macallan’s previous Master Distiller, Nick Savage. This is KLBD certified Kosher.

Taste

Vinaya is matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks.

Brand Tasting Notes: Sweet, floral grass and fresh green apples.

Holly’s Tasting Notes: Pears, apples, green apple jolly ranchers, and lemon cream. Some baked oatmeal and raisin cookies in there too from the Oloroso Sherry influence. The palate shows even more of that sherry influence with gingerbread, plums, and raisins.
