Benromach distillery was first established in Forres, Scotland in 1898.
The distillery was acquired by the Urquharts in 1993, who also own and operate the independent bottler, Gordon & MacPhail. Under their domain, the family wanted to bring back a more classic style of Speyside whisky where it was lightly peated, just a touch of smoke along with the fruity qualities. This distillery has an extremely small production capacity.
Brand Tasting Notes: Cracked pepper, charred oak, dark chocolate, and forest fruits. Rich sherry notes and a dash of smoke.
