Description

The name Adelphi traces its origins back to 1825 when the Adelphi Distillery was built in Glasgow. Its name was eventually changed to Loch Katrine Adelphi in the late 1870s. The distillery would be sold and eventually stop all production in the early 1900s. It was revived in 1993 by Jamie Walker who used the site as an independent bottling facility. He would eventually sell it on to the current owners, Keith Falconer and Donald Houston in 2004. Adelphi Selections is one of the most sought-after independent bottlers.

In 2014, Keith and Donald built and opened Ardnamurchan Distillery on the west coast of Scotland.

Brand Tasting Notes: A nose of orange marmalade, flamed orange zest, and cream soda leads to a palate of tobacco leaf, oiled leather, and dried cranberries with a rich and oily finish

Founded in 1852, Dailuaine is a Speyside distillery primarily tasked with producing malt for Diageo blends, though rare single malt releases have been celebrated for their full-bodied style.
